CentraState Healthcare System is a not-for-profit health organization providing a range of services through an acute-care medical center, an ambulatory campus housing a range of outpatient health and wellness services, three senior living communities, and a family medicine center.
 
General System Information
  • Fourth largest employer in Monmouth County with 2,400 employees.
  • Serving a population of 360,000 in four counties in central New Jersey.
  • Acute-care medical center established in 1971.

CentraState Medical Center

  • A 284-bed medical facility with 450 board-certified physicians.
  • Awarded Magnet status in 2005 by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) of the American Nurses Association.
  • Became a teaching hospital July 1, 2005, in the specialty of family medicine, in conjunction with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
