Family Medicine Center
CentraState's Family Medicine Center underwent a major renovation in 2005 and converted to a family practice model, designed to provide safe, effective and quality care in the 21st century. In addition to initial and ongoing medical care, patients receive diagnostic testing, nursing interventions, health screenings, health education and referrals for follow-up care. During their office visits, patients may have various cancer-related screenings, such as PAP smears and breast or rectal exams. Laboratory tests, x-rays, mammograms, CT scans and other tests also may be prescribed. Additionally, skin biopsies, fine needle aspiration biopsies and certain gynecological biopsy procedures may be performed to provide or confirm a diagnosis.
For more information, contact the Family Medicine Center at (732) 294-2540
