New Jersey & National Affiliations

We are partners with the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network and The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, and a Cancer Trials Support Unit (CTSU) clinical trial site of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) — one of only 60 CTSU-approved sites nationwide. Through our affiliations, we are able to access the latest breakthroughs in cancer research and clinical trials, and provide state-of-the-art care in our community.

Accreditation & Outstanding Achievement Award

Our Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer (CoC), which sets the standard for cancer care programs in the nation. In 2007, we earned a three-year reaccreditation with commendation as a "Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program" — a level of accreditation that reflects, among other things, our program's rising patient volume; our involvement in clinical trials that are advancing the frontiers of cancer care; and our attention to pain management.

Ties to American Cancer Society

Our pledge to provide the finest in cancer care is enhanced by our relationship with the American Cancer Society (ACS). We work closely with the ACS to provide education, screenings and cancer prevention and early detection programs.

CentraState is a part owner of a new proton therapy center, now under construction at Somerset, N.J.
