In 2005, CentraState Medical Center was awarded Magnet status by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) of the American Nurses Association. Of more than 5,700 hospitals in the U.S., CentraState is only the 187th to receive the Magnet award. The hospital features specialties in maternal-child, critical care, emergency, surgical and psychiatric nursing. We also provide outstanding nursing care in our medical/surgical, oncology, telemetry, and cardiac rehabilitation units.
Our nurses enjoy a competitive pay scale, an outstanding benefits package, flexible scheduling, and an array of other amenities often overlooked at larger hospital systems. CentraState nurses also have access to advanced technology in the workplace, including computer documentation. Because they collaborate directly with our physicians to ensure excellence in patient care, our nurses enjoy increased autonomy and decision-making responsibility.
We provide a comprehensive and individualized orientation for all employees, beginning with a general system-wide orientation. Nursing orientation focuses on specific nursing department processes, procedures, and delivery of care. If you are looking for a work environment that fosters your leadership skills and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, consider joining the nursing staff at CentraState.
