CentraState offers custom-designed, weight-loss programs

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP—CentraState Medical Center is offering four, unique weight-loss programs. The eight-session, group nutrition and fitness programs address the challenges of losing weight, with two of the programs targeting those who are either managing pre-diabetes or diabetes, or cardiac risk factors or heart disease. Each group session includes interactive nutrition education with a registered dietitian and a half-hour of exercise with a certified fitness professional.

The “Lighten Up for Post-Bariatric Patients” is a unique weight-loss program especially designed for post-bariatric patients and will meet on Tuesdays, beginning January 21, from 6:45-8 p.m. The program cost is $89 per person.

The “Lighten Up for Diabetes” program will address the challenges of losing weight while managing pre-diabetes or diabetes. This class will meet on Tuesdays, beginning January 21, from 7:30-9 p.m. The program cost is $99 per person.

The “Lighten Up Back on Track” program is designed to refresh, refocus, and recharge your weight loss efforts. This class will meet on Thursdays, beginning January 23, from 9:30-11 a.m. The program cost is $99 per person.

The “Lighten Up for Heart Health” program will address the challenges of losing weight while minimizing the risk factors for heart disease. This class will meet on Thursdays, beginning January 23, from 9:30-11 a.m. The program cost is $99 per person.
