Any personal appliance brought to the hospital must be inspected by the Maintenance Department before using.
CentraState's Chaplain/Director of Pastoral Care, The Rev. Lisa Lancaster, is available to visit patients and families, upon request, to provide spiritual and emotional support. The CentraStar Café, located in the main lobby of CentraState Medical Center, provides breakfast, lunch and dinner foods, as well as specialty coffees and bakery items. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Liberty Café,
on the main floor of CentraState's Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, which is adjacent to the hospital and connected by an enclosed walkway, serves a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods, coffees and snack items. Five Star Room Service Dining,
Our Five Star Room Service Dining program for patients who are admitted to CentraState Medical Center may make them feel like they’re staying at a hotel, rather than a hospital. Fires and Fire Drills
Fire drills are conducted regularly and are not a cause for alarm. In the event of a fire, patients in the affected area will be evacuated by staff members. All others should remain calm and stay in their rooms. All fire doors will close, and doors to rooms will be closed by the Nursing staff until the alarm is over.

In an effort to minimize latex in the environment for those who are allergic, latex balloons are not allowed in the medical center.
CentraState is committed to a smoke-free environment. In the interest of the health of our patients, visitors,staff and volunteers, we appreciate your assistance in achieving this goal. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the medical center. Starting in November 2008, CentraState will go smoke-free outdoors (including parking lots) as well.
