At the nationally recognized Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center at CentraState Medical Center, patients and their loved ones have several options from which to choose for cancer prevention, health and wellness, education, and
support groups.
Here are just a few of the programs and activities we offer at the HAC:
- Free prostate, colorectal and skin cancer screenings. Regular cancer screenings are part of a healthy lifestyle, and play a vital part in early detection of cancer, which increases your chances of survival.
- Integrative (holistic) therapies and activities such as meditation
- Lectures by board-certified physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating cancers
- Nutrition classes
- Smoking cessation and prevention classes
