• CentraState Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer (CoC) for quality excellence and has been designated as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program

• CentraState’s Radiology Department, has earned accreditations from the American College of Radiology (ACR) in Computed Tomography, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Breast Ultrasound and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. The Ultrasound Department is also accredited by The Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL)

• CentraState’s Radiation Oncology Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology

• The Women’s Health Center is designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, and a Pink Ribbon Facility by Hologic®.

• CentraState has been designated a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for excellence in nursing care.

• CentraState has been awarded the CEO Cancer Gold Standard Award. The CEO Cancer Gold Standard defines what CEOs and their organizations can do to prevent cancer, to detect it early, and to ensure access to the best available treatment for those who are diagnosed with cancer.

As a partner with the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), we are able to access the latest breakthroughs in cancer research and clinical trials of the Cancer Trial Support Unit of the National Cancer Institute, and provide state-of-the-art care in our community. Many of our educational programs are aligned with the American Cancer Society.
