The Family Medicine Department’s Geriatric Fellowship is a one-year program based at CentraState Medical Center. Faculty and fellows will have the opportunity to engage in research and scholarly activities along with the faculty and fellows in the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Geriatric Fellowship Program in New Brunswick. This collaboration is paramount to our goal of becoming New Jersey's Geriatric Center of Excellence.
In addition to providing continuous care at CentraState's Family Medicine Center, our fellows see patients at CentraState’s Applewood Estates lifecare community, Monmouth Crossing assisted-living residence, and The Manor Care Center health and rehabilitation center – all of which are within a five-mile radius of the Family Medicine Center and CentraState’s hospital campus in Freehold. Additional rounds will be completed at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson, NJ.
