After childbirth, when you and your newborn are ready, you will both be moved to another private, homelike room in our First Impressions Maternity Pavilion. This 14,000-square-foot mother-baby wing features 20 private rooms decorated in subtle, soothing colors, a full room service menu, a pull-out bed for a support person to stay overnight, a play area for children, and a waiting area with a relaxing aquarium. There, you can bond with your baby in a quiet, peaceful setting while receiving postpartum care.
Our maternity nurses are here to help with any questions or concerns. We’ll show you how to bathe your newborn and take care of the umbilical cord and circumcision. If you are breastfeeding your baby, our lactation specialists are available to offer valuable guidance.
You’ll have the opportunity to keep your baby with you all the time. Or, if you prefer, we can keep the baby in our nursery so you can rest or shower. We’ll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable, pampered, and relaxed.
