CentraState receives Excellence in Community Wellness Recognition Award

The Community Affairs and Resource Center (CARC), formerly the Hispanic Women’s Resource Center, in Asbury Park, NJ, hosted its Eighth Annual Gala Fundraiser at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown on May 4, honoring distinguished individuals and institutions for their significant contributions to the well being and quality of life of surrounding communities. CentraState Healthcare System received the Excellence in Community Wellness Recognition Award accepted by John T. Gribbin (pictured center), FACHE, president and CEO. Gribbin is flanked by Beatriz Oesterheld (pictured left), executive director, CARC, and Tara Demyanovich (pictured right), board secretary, CARC. CARC is a nonprofit social service organization based in Asbury Park that assists economically disadvantaged families in Monmouth County. Its mission is to empower and strengthen youth and families by promoting self-sufficiency through education, advocacy, and collaboration.
