CentraState Medical Center’s Emergency Department (ED) is a state-of-the-art, Level II emergency facility. Our highly trained emergency physicians and Magnet-recognized nursing team provide prompt, expert emergency and urgent care for patients of all ages — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Notably, CentraState’s Emergency Department is 1 of 53 EDs in the nation to receive the prestigious Lantern Award. The esteemed recognition highlights the nursing staff’s dedication to excellent patient care in emergency services. In addition, CentraState has the distinction of being a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, as well as an accredited Chest Pain Center.
