CentraState Emergency Department

CentraState Medical Center’s Emergency Department (ED) is a state-of-the-art Level II emergency facility designed, equipped, and staffed to provide prompt, quality emergency care for patients of all ages 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

During the COVID-19 crisis, we are taking extra precautions to keep you safe, including:

  • Upon arrival to the ED, every patient will be instructed to wear a mask to protect both themselves and others. The patient will also be screened for COVID-19.
  • The reception area has been divided into two sections – one for people with COVID-19 symptoms and one for those without.
  • Based upon the reason for your visit to the Emergency Department, you will be escorted into a private room where the door will be closed at all times for both your safety and the safety of others.
  • Although there is currently a no-visitor policy in effect, ED staff is using digital resources, such as Zoom and Facetime, to allow the patient’s family to stay in communication with their loved ones.
