CentraState Medical Center is offering free breast exams and mammogram screenings to all women aged 40 and older on Thursday, June 11 at 3-7 p.m. at the Star and Barry Tobias Women’s Health Center, 901 W. Main St., Freehold.
The breast exams and mammogram screenings will be available by appointment with nurse practitioner Lorraine Riker, RN, MS, AOCN.
CentraState, in following CDC guidelines and protocol, has implemented these safety and sanitation processes for all staff and patients.
- Temperature checks
- Masks and face coverings
- Additional surface disinfection after each patient
- Seating arrangements with 6 feet of separation at all times
- Visual decals to remind patients of 6 feet separation policy
- Plexiglass shields between front desk and patients
Patients attending the breast screening event will be escorted from the hospital’s main lobby to the screening area by a CentraState staff member.
Those who get their mammogram will receive a special spa gift of $50 off a regularly-priced, one-hour massage or facial at Hand & Stone Spa in Howell, Manalapan or East Windsor.
