CentraState Medical Center attained Magnet recognition again in April 2020, a testament to its continued dedication to high-quality nursing practice. This distinction places CentraState in an elite group of less than 2% of hospitals in the nation to have earned Magnet recognition four consecutive times.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program® distinguishes health care organizations that meet rigorous standards for nursing excellence. This credential is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice.

Just 378 out of more than 6,300 health care organizations in the United States have achieved Magnet recognition. Health care organizations must reapply for Magnet recognition every four years based on adherence to Magnet concepts and demonstrated improvements in patient care and quality.
