CentraState Healthcare System was recently honored by the Central Jersey Blood Center with the 2016 Corporate Silver Award for contributing 258 blood donations in 2016.

According to the center’s statistics, most of us will need blood or blood products at some point in our lives. However less than 5% of the eligible population donates blood. In this area alone, 800 pints of lifesaving blood are needed to sustain the lives of patients each week.

CentraState is proud to be a community partner with Central Jersey Blood Center, who is celebrating its 50th year of service in our community.

Please consider becoming a blood donor at one of the upcoming blood drives in CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus Auditorium at 901 W. Main Street, Freehold, on the following dates and times, respectively.

  • Thursday, July 20, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 14, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 14, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
