CentraState’s Endoscopy Team Honored

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP—CentraState Medical Center’s endoscopy team has been named an EndoNurse All-Star Team by EndoNurse magazine, a nationally acclaimed publication for endoscopy professionals. CentraState’s endoscopy team received this honor “for going above and beyond in their treatment of colleagues and patients,” according to EndoNurse.

An endoscopy is a minimally invasive, diagnostic medical procedure where cameras are used to examine the inside of an organ in the body. A physician can directly look at specific areas to better evaluate or to detect problems, including the esophagus, stomach and colon.

“We are extremely proud of this recognition of our outstanding patient care efforts,” says Helen Bueti, RN, staff nurse in CentraState’s endoscopy department. “Our team functions at a high level because we are constantly learning and sharing new technology knowledge with each other, and we work together to care for our patients in the best possible way.”

CentraState Healthcare System is a nonprofit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital, a health and wellness campus, three senior living communities, a Family Medicine Residency Program, and a charitable foundation. CentraState’s teaching program is sponsored by Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
