CentraState to Hold Educational Event For Those Living With Diabetes On Nov. 6

CentraState Medical Center is offering the forum, Sweet Success: Preventing and Managing Diabetes, on Wed., Nov. 6 from 5:30-8 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main Street, Freehold. Registration will begin at 5 p.m.

Participants can learn how to take a more active role in preventing and managing their diabetes, and discover how the right balance of food, relaxation and exercise can help reverse prediabetes and better control diabetes. There will also be discussions on eye health for diabetes, and diabetes-related depression and mental well-being support.

Healthcare experts specializing in diabetes will be on hand to answer the most pressing questions, including how diabetes can affect a person’s balance in all aspects of life, along with health vendors offering information on the latest devices and advances in diabetes management.
