The unit features a design that offers generous space for staff, optimal privacy for patients, comfort for families, and superior infection control.

VISITING HOURS

Immediate family members may visit patients in our Critical Care Unit from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Only two visitors per patient are permitted.

Children over age five who are immediate family members and in good health may visit patients. Please arrange with the nursing staff for a child’s visit. Children are not permitted to visit patients in isolation.

The CCU is located on the 5th floor of the hospital.

Live flowers or plants are not permitted in the CCU/SD area. Cards and personal items, such as pictures, signs or posters are welcome. Please note that only Mylar balloons are allowed and be aware that space is limited when making selections.

No inquiries will be accepted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. These are the staff shift report hours. To ensure confidentiality and maximize the efficiency of care, we ask that a designated spokesperson from the patient’s family serve as a contact to receive and communicate information regarding care. Due to patient privacy, only limited information can be given by telephone.
