CentraState to hold health & wellness event on June 24

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP—CentraState Medical Center is holding a health and wellness event on Tuesday, June 24, from 5:30-8 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus Conference Center, 901 W. Main Street, Freehold.

The event will feature seminars, presented by clinical experts, on how to improve one’s mind, body and spirit. A lecture about the simple and wholesome Mediterranean Diet will discuss how this approach to eating can help reduce the risk of chronic disease and enhance your health. Participants can also learn how making gradual, positive changes to your lifestyle, including diet, exercise and sleep habits, can increase your energy and help you to look and feel better. Topics such as stress-busting techniques will also be presented, as well as information on how to maximize your fitness goals with circuit training.

Presenters include a registered dietitian, certified fitness trainer, and primary care physician.

The event will also feature health screenings throughout the evening, including blood pressure and body fat screenings. Cholesterol and triglyceride screenings will also be available for a nominal fee of $20.

For more information about the health and wellness event and upcoming Live Life Well programs or to register, call (732) 308-0570 or register here.
