Think having prediabetes is a one-way ticket to diabetes? Think again. Healthy lifestyle changes can help reverse prediabetes—a major CDC study proves it.

For several years, CentraState has participated in the CDC-recognized Diabetes Prevention Program. This year-long, evidence-based, healthy lifestyle program helps participants to reverse the progression towards diabetes.

The study numbers speak for themselves:

58% Reduction for developing diabetes compared to a placebo group—even better risk reduction than taking metformin (a medication to lower blood sugar).

31% Lower risk of developing diabetes ten years after participating in the program.

5-10% Reduction in body fat can improve your blood sugar level and help reverse prediabetes.
